Clubs & Activities

At Haley, our staff highly encourages involvement in our school community both in and out of the classroom. Our goal is to promote student interests in many ways; that's why we started the Kindness Club, Breakfast Book Club and Yearbook Club. This way, students have the opportunity to promote our school culture and enhance our Comet community and values.

Comet Kindness Club
This is one of our after-school activity clubs. The supervising teacher and students plan and implement kindness initiatives within our school community as well as local communities (like Georgetowne Place - a retirement community in our neighborhood). The goal is to spread happiness and goodwill!

Yearbook Club
This is an after-school activity club. The supervising teachers and students create our yearbook each year which can be purchased by our families to document each school year and to capture school memories.

Breakfast Book Club
A before-school group where elementary students eat breakfast together and discuss a shared book. Our goal is to promote literacy and conscious reading in any way we can. Out students love this, as it is a fun way to start our day before school every Monday and Tuesday.
